Mythic Dungeons
Events are posted on the Discord event calendar. If you want to set up more mythic or need help posting a mythic event please contact our Mythic leader
Mythic Officers are as follows:
Nikastraz, and Faey (Class Trainer)
Rules for Mythics
Show up 15 minutes prior to the event start, so we can get everyone sorted into groups and organized before the event starts.
2. Mythics + nights are for learning and gearing. However if a player can’t keep up in a Mythic 0 (as determined by the mythic leader), said player will be advised to practice in heroics, do world quests, read icy veins, and wowhead on their class and rotations.
3. No Carries. We are happy to help you learn mechanics.
4. You must be able to listen on discord. This is so you can hear explanation of mechanics and callouts. Speaking is optional.
5. The primary purpose of Mythic + is to learn. You may receive feedback on your rotation and execution of mechanics. This instruction is intended to help you, not to criticize. Please try to be open to what our Mythic leads suggest.
Mythic Participation Rules:
On the night of the Mythic Guild Function, participants will meet in the Mythics + Stage room in the discord. The Mythics officer will pick the guild members who will participate in the run from those who are present in the channel.
Rotations
Food and Flasks
Bring your own food and flasks.
Under special circumstance composition may take precedence over high rolls (eg. Some classes do better in certain dungeons)
One roll qualifies for any eligible mythic key Providing (ilvl) matches
Rules
You will bring appropriate food and flask for yourself to the mythic+ or a mythic officer may reject your application to that day’s event. If you can’t afford it let the officer know ahead of time and we can help provide you with what you need.
Mythic etiquette
Basic etiquette when before/during +gear timer is going
Unless you are the tank or healer don't talk unless you have something important to call out to the group
Be mindful of pulling and follow all the tank and healers instructions
Guild members do not fight with each other during mythic if you feel you are losing control leave. Remember that it is just a game and if it’s stressing you out then by all means take a break.
Make sure to have your gear enchanted, gem socket, and proper food ready for dungeon as we may not have the proper food for your build.
Do not show up with the wrong specs on toon or wrong gear. As this will hold up the group or cost a key.
6. Discord is required for better communication but talking isn't necessary.
Loot Rules
Loot priority is like this for loot.
If it is an upgrade for yourself, it is yours.
If it is not an upgrade, and others want it the Officer will request they roll for the piece.
If no one but yourself wants the item (and it is not soulbound), it may then go to your alts.
If someone wishes to disenchant said item, they may request to do so.
Preparing for Mythics:
Get your gear up - do your dailies
Daily world quests in BOA. Do as many of these as you can each day as it will help you reach a mythic appropriate ilvl.
Know your stats - read Icyveins
Icyveins is a website where you can look up what the primary stats are for each class. Having the correct stats is more important than having a high ilvl.
Research the mechanics - watch Fatboss
Fatboss is a youtube channel where there are videos on all the mythic + dungeons. Knowing the mechanics of the mythic + dungeons you plan to run will be mandatory. Fatboss gives tips on what paths to take, who to kill first, where not to stand, ect.
Reach out to a Mythics officer
Our Mythics officers spend a great deal of time preparing each week for mythic. They are experts in their field and can answer any questions you might have.
Deadly Boss Mod (DBM for short). Has many numerous benefits but mainly calls out important warnings/tips for each boss encounter and even some of the trash packs. Is also required for raiding. Everyone playing WoW should have this mod installed.
Astral keys Automatically calls out your current keystone and lets others see what you have too. Makes forming and running mythic+ groups much simpler - no need to ask who’s got what!
Details! Shows your output in terms of DPS or healing. This lets you see how you’re stacking up against your other party members and lets you learn and improve your rotation.
GTFO Tells you to move when you are standing in avoidable damage
RaiderIO Lets you see tons of relevant data about yourself in terms of mythic+ dungeons completed and also raiding info, but best of all lets you see where other players are at too. Makes forming PUG groups much easier and smoother.
Angry Keystones Provides a better view of the keystone interface, gives you more data on how you wiped, and also portions the timer to let you know if you’re on track or not.
These can all be found on CurseForge - please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or are new to WoW/using mods and want a more thorough walkthrough.
